What should I do if I experience a power cut?

Network operators are responsible for maintaining your power supply, not the energy companies themselves.

If you lose power, it’s worth checking a couple of things before you call your operator:

  • Take a look outside – are your neighbours lights and street lamps off too? If not, it’s likely to be a problem within your own home.
  • Check your fuse box and trip switch to make sure it isn’t just a problem with your wiring or an appliance.
