For smart meter users, data updates approximately every 2-3 hours
Both gas and electricity smart meters store usage data every half hour for the past 13 months. Loop accesses this data by making requests to your meter for the latest data.
We make these requests every two hours, meaning that on the app's Day view the data can be up to around 2-3 hours out of date. Occasionally our requests to your meter don't succeed and your data will be less up to date until our next successful request. We would love to make these requests more frequently, but there are constraints placed on us by the network.
If you have an In Home Display you can see your electricity usage update up to every few seconds. This Live data is only available to devices directly connected to the smart meter within the home and Loop can't access this remotely.
