Why can't Loop Optimise be used with a Solar Diverter?

Loop Optimise won't work correctly if you have a Solar Diverter running.

Solar Diverters, such as iBoost or Eddi, create hot water or charge an EV from excess energy generated from solar panels.

Loop Optimise exports electricity when export prices are high.

If a solar diverter is active when Loop Optimise tries to export electricity, the diverter will  intercept any exported electricity and will direct it to your EV charger or hot water heater, meaning you get no export payments.

Loop Optimise will assume the electricity will have been sold back to the grid, and the savings displayed by Loop Optimise will be incorrect.
