Before you start linking Loop to your smart meter

To sign up you'll need a payment card that’s registered to the address where the smart meter is, to confirm your identity. That's all we use your card for. We do not take any payment. It is important for us to be clear about that. 

If you don’t have a payment card registered at the address or if authentication is unsuccessful, you’ll need to have access to your smart meter's In-Home Display: this is the small electronic display you were given when the smart meter was installed. Don't worry if your display doesn't work, you'll be able to register your meter by entering a code printed on the side.


Important note:

If you already have a Loop account, please use a different email address when signing up to avoid account issues.
